Bank holiday Rolo style

fantastic sunny Sunday spent being a celebrity at Lechlade Festival. I even got a Performer wristband! Made some new friends, signed a few books and joined in the 24 hour danceathon.

Then I had a nice walk down to Manton and surprised some geese and goslings in the churchyard. They scurried off to the riverbank when they saw me coming.. I only wanted to say hello. When I got home I was surprised to be bathed by the floppy haired boy. He’s got no school at the moment and he’s now known as the Lazy Boy. Think the smiley lady must have bribed him to bath me… He wouldn’t volunteer! Oh the indignity of standing in the sink!

Out to lunch at The Beckford Arms, Fonthill Gifford… A lovely country pub with a 4 and 1/2 mile circular walk which we will return to do one day when it’s not raining. The humans were raving about how good the food was. I sat quietly under the table.
