Coot in Cardiff

020018022We crossed the Severn via the more scenic M48 and drove to Cardiff. Rolo enjoyed teasing the ducks and ducklings as he scampered along the Waterfront canal. At lunch, he watched a Coot struggle for 20 minutes to place a large twig on the nest he was building. He was obviously following a blueprint as he wasn’t happy until it was just so. When his Missus came to inspect his nest building, he got under it as if to say ‘well you wanted a roof didn’t you?’ Comical and Rolo would have loved to have got in and helped!
