Brill walkies

We had a marvellous long circular walk through unexplored territory yesterday! The smiley lady met up with an old school friend mid way between their homes which happened to be Brill, Buckinghamshire. Here’s the link The walk takes about 2 1/2 hours – more if you are not brill at map reading haha. I thought the smiley lady was supposed to have been a scout leader once upon a time!
It was lots of fun – we started at a windmill (Brill) and waded through muddy puddles (well I did), saw bluebell woods just coming into flower, a yellow hammer, a skylark, a hare, a couple of wandering chickens probably playing chicken…it was a fabulous and exhausting walk (well, the ladies were exhausted – I could have done it all again!)
