Over the hills

A glorious Wiltshire morning after yesterdays deluge and more rain threatened, so Rolo and I set out this morning through the village of Manton and up rather steep Manton Drove, turning left across freshly ploughed fields and through my favourite cathedral of beech trees before dropping down past the tennis courts, through St Georges churchyard at Preshute and back up College Fields. The views were stunning on top this morning with wispy clouds, and the birds singing their little heads off in the hedgerows, unaware that Winter is fast approaching. I love days like this, and don’t want to be anywhere else. We are making the most of the sunshine whilst it lasts! Now indoors and cracking on with Book 6. Johns updated the website and revealed the title of the next one! Have a look at http://www.thesecretsocietyofdragonprotectors.com
