Spring has surely sprung

Off with the ‘constant’ central heating, away with the woollies…the daffs are out, the croci are bloomin’ lovely and I’ve even seen early primroses on a sheltered bank, and Spring lambs frolicking in the fields…what a glorious time to be in England!
But there is a scary face in my bird feeder (see photo) and my one legged pigeon Hoppity has rewarded my loving care by pooping all over the patio whilst he waits outside the back door…and somethings made off with the home made fatball – lard and oats and sultanas stuffed in a net and tied up with string – its gone AWOL!! The ponies in the fields over onder are fatter and greedier than ever, and looking at the photos before quickly deleting, so am I! Time to stop being so contented and indulgent and get on that rowing machine big time! Lacock is looking particularly pretty and quiet this time of year just prior to the NT season starting again at Easter…I love wandering the village (Location of Cranford) on a weekday in term time…so lovely and quiet. Had a lovely Dragon visit to Forest and Sandridge primary school and unbelievably bumped into someone I knew in Dubai – and she left 12 years ago. We instantly recognised each other – very scary indeed! OK I can’t have altered that much then!! This week my lounge suite is undergoing a transformation from late 80’s big print to lime green sofas, and duck egg blue chair…the colourscheme suits my mood and the newly painted walls!

Avebury looks really mysterious in the hazy light. Love the ladybird pic.
