Kennet rising

February 1, 2012 at 11:12 pm Leave a comment

It was exceedingly cold this morning but bright and very sunny. Sunny enough to heat the conservatory..I nearly had to open a window! A winters walk across the Downs ending up in the Welly at lunchtime with rosy cheeks and 2 very satisfying pints of 6X. Oh dear, slippery slope…but delighted to report the daffodils are nearly out down the bottom and the Kennet is once more in full flow.
