Dragon Day at Lacock Abbey

Half Term Thursday was the wettest day of the week in Wiltshire…but that

didn’t stop lots of dragon fans turning up at the National Trust’s Lacock Abbey

in Wiltshire to share some fun family activities. Amazing storytellers/puppeteers

Alchemy were there and managed to break the indoor dragon land speed record in the cloisters! Activities included dragon badge and puppet making, dragon blood concocting and a dragon egg treasure trail. I did a couple of presentations and sold some books as well as passing on contact details for free author visits to a number of local schools. Despite the cold and damp, a great day!
