strimming part 2

Finished off the front garden jungle today – 15 years worth of untamed shrubs strimmed until my arms nearly fell off. A dear friend (who shall remain nameless) observed I had succeeded in moving the jungle from the garden to the drive. All I had to do then was sit and wait and by 3pm the knights arrived (armour a little rusty)…men in a van passing by, offering to clear the lot for £60. They promised they would not flytip. When you observe the photos you will know why I jumped at this offer! On my conscience is an empty perfectly constructed nest, now revealed. I feel sure it’s left over from last year. I hope so. I don’t like to think I evicted my wildlife.

p.s. went to visit my unicorns up the hill…took carrots and a few sugar lumps. Note to self – never put them in the same bag. Result; Sweet carrots, naughty ponies and very sticky hands.
